| TGE (Tiny Guidance Engine) |
Continental Controls and Design, Inc. has developed the world's tiniest solution for a fully integrated guidance, navigation and control package: the TGE (Tiny Guidance Engine). The TGE provides a flexible platform for guidance and control of UAV's (Unmanned Aerial Vehicles), AUV's (Autonomous Underwater Vehicles), small munitions and other applications where size and weight are a limiting factor. Integrated with today's miniature GPS (Global Positioning Satellite) receivers, the TGE’s navigation and control attains a level of accuracy never before achieved at this scale. The TGE is the smallest, lightest, least power consumptive and lowest cost solution on the market today. Period. It is adaptable to all airframes, weapon systems and scenarios, allowing precise control for any miniaturized, autonomous product. Featuring full 3-D inertial sensing (roll, pitch and yaw rate sensors), drawing less than 130mA of power (running at 5V operational power), and weighing in at just 13 grams total weight, the TGE is less than 1 cubic inch in size. With the flexibility to operate with multiple GPS units – including high dynamic, 4G platform capability – the TGE combined with it’s Glass Cockpit™ ground control software and CADRG/DTED map integration will give you the precise feedback and control that your application needs. The TGE is not just a sensor suite; it is a complete guidance computer system, capable of full autonomous vehicle control. With a 1000+ waypoint buffer and 1/2MB of on board data storage, the TGE knows where it needs to be and knows how to get there. With rate sensing to 2000 deg/s, 2G to 10G acceleration sensing, and 16 bit servo resolution, the TGE will get you there with precision. Having the ability to log the output of each and every sensor on board, the TGE is powerful by itself, but coupled with the TGE Glass Cockpit™ software it becomes a fully adaptable navigation system. The instrument panel of the Glass Cockpit™ is fully configurable, allowing the user to easily set up the instrumentation in any arrangement, attached to any piece of data output from the TGE.Complete with on-screen mapping and one-click waypoint setting, the Glass Cockpit™ software gives you the capability that you need with the efficiency that you demand. Continental Controls and Design’s TGE isn’t just another solution; it's the smallest, lightest, leanest and most cost-effective solution you can find. We’ve got a little guidance for you: get the TGE. The TGE specification sheet can be downloaded here: TGE datasheet.pdf |
